The Waiting Game

It's hard to believe the due date is only 10 days away. David and I are anxiously awaiting the birth of our little girl and every day seems to last forever as we anticipate her arrival into the world.

The last nine months have a been a whirlwind of activity and preparations but today, we're as ready as we can possibly be. My bag is packed, her nursery is ready and the email to all our friends and family is ready to go!

If only she was as ready as we are. At the last doctor visit, it was clear, she's just not quite ready, but we're hoping this week, she'll have decided she's a bit more excited to join us on the outside. Dr. J is giving her till 9/30 to make her grand entrance, otherwise, we're going to help her along and I'll go in for induction. So either way, we know that by next Wednesday, we'll finally get to hold her.

We know the biggest question on everyone's mind (okay...perhaps not the biggest question but you get the idea) is what are we going to name her? The answer is, we'll know when we see her. We've narrowed down the list to 3-4 names and when she gets her, we know she'll help give us some guidance on the perfect name. So for now, she continues to be nicknamed Bob (Baby on Board) or Bobi as most of us have adopted.

We want to thank all of our friends, family and coworkers who've supported us over these last 9 months. You've all played a wonderful part in this new journey and we can't wait for everyone to meet her!
