We've had a lot of requests for new photos this week. Seems mom and dad have fallen down on their duties by not posting enough new pics! We promise, we'll try to be better :-)
It was a great weekend with mediocre weather so Elliot and I spent a lot of time riding the bike while daddy studied. We went to the library and the coffee shop on Saturday and then to the pool on Sunday to meet our pals Lydia and Evan (and their parents of course). Lydia's such a good swimmer already and she and her dad Chris taught us how to dive like a dolphin. Elliot did a great job (with only a little cry when she came up for air)! Evan was a total champ and did his dolphin dive twice.
Saturday night we went to Aunt Erica's house for her 40th b-day party. Happy Birthday Erica...we love you!. Mom and Dad were all dressed up in 70's duds for a night of discoing at the Peter's house. Thanks to teacher Kayla from Elliot's daycare who baby sat for us so we could enjoy and evening out. Rumor has it, Elliot had her reading books for over an hour before bedtime.
Tonight we had a long over due visit from Jen who always knows just what Elliot loves. But before Jen got here, Elliot helped me get ready by vacuuming the house (Aunt Erica would be so proud). With some new glittery crayons and her very own sketch book, Elliot was quite the artist. Hopefully tomorrow she'll test out her new pots pans.
We also survived her second full week of day care in the wobbler room. It's official. She's no longer an infant!
