At the Neves house it is! This year we decided to put up our Xmas tree a little early. Since we're headed to Sunriver on the 27th, we figured we'd get a jump on the holiday. Since Sauvie Island has become our "second home" this fall, we thought, what better place to go get our tree. So out we went on Saturday to cut down our tree. Since this is really the first Xmas holiday Elliot seems to understand, she loved being able to pick out the tree and help to decorate. Thank goodness I only have a few really fragile ornaments, because she loved the idea of picking up as many of the ball ornaments as she could and carry them around the house. Nerve racking to say the least. But we survived the tree trimming with no broken ornaments and no scrapes from the ornament hooks. Whew!
