Dear Great Pumpkin...You must get discouraged because more people believe in Santa Claus than you. Well, let's fact it, Santa Claus has had more publicity, but being #2; perhaps you try harder. (linus; The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown).
Well Elliot might be too young to know who the Great Pumpkin is, but she sure had a good time picking out her pumpkin this year at Kruger Farms Pumpkin patch. With good friends John, Shannon and Jack, we made our annual trek out to Sauvie Island to the pumpkin patch. The day was gorgeous and we go their early so thankfully we missed out on the hour long wait to cross the bridge onto the island.
Elliot got to go for a hay ride, run through the corn maze and play in the pumpkin patch. And for the grown ups...some fresh grilled corn on the cob and a candy apple. What could be better!
