And you can come too, too, too...Well at least you can come with us next time since we just renewed our Zoo membership today with a "plus" so we can bring a free quest any time we go. (HINT to the grandparents....we'd love you all to come visit) ;-)
While we've been to the zoo several times, this was at the first time Elliot was really old enough to understand it. She got to see lots of the animals in person that we read stories about. Her favorite had to be the primate house...a trait she shares with her mom who could stay there for hours watching the monkeys. We also "met" some pretty big fish she was captivated by. As an added bonus, some of the handlers were out today with a falcon and a screeching owl. Both pretty cool.
Thanks to Lori, Jon, Rhianna and Hazel for making the trip today so much fun. If the zoo is this much fun, we can't wait for this summer and a camping trip to the coast!
