The Dreaded Pink Eye

They say kids in daycare bring home a lot of germs. Certainly true for this household where one of us has been sick since December. Last week it was the Pink Eye. It was going around daycare and sure enough, Elliot got it. Fortunately, that didn't stop her for long b/c we had a busy weekend filled with lots of fun.

Saturday night we went to Stacey and Geordie's house. Their son Elliot and Grant are just a few months apart. The kids played great together and had a blast. At the very last second, Grant put his finger in Elliot's eye - we're holding out hope he doesn't get the pink eye too! (I ran into them yesterday at the store and so far so good) :-)

Sunday it was so nice out that we went to the dog park with Auntie Jami and all the dogs. We've got quite the little pack when we're all there. Elliot really loves to hang onto the "chuck it" although she hasn't quite figured out how to throw the ball just yet.

Dad had lots of studying, but mom did manage to squeeze in a little personal time (thank you dad) and had bfast with Toni on Saturday. And on Monday while everyone else was in school, I was able to enjoy a pedicure and lunch with Erica and Julie! Thanks for the fun days girls.

Elliot will try out the "big kid" room again this week at school on Wednesday to see how she does. She spent an hour there yesterday with teacher Rena. Pretty soon, she's be there full time!

Here's to hoping for a germ free week this week (although I'm not optimistic).
