Happy Graduation Daddy

As most of you know, David graduated from Nursing School this weekend (technically he's got a few more classes to complete but the big ceremony was this weekend).   Having gone to big universities the first go around, this was such an amazing experience to watch.  David didn't attend his UT grad and my IU grad was on a football field with 10,000 of my closes friends.  They announced the college of arts and sciences and I stood up with 5000 other students!

So this was quite a bit more intimate.  The weekend kicked off with the Nursing School pinning on Saturday and the entire University graduation on Sunday.  Elliot was able to join us Saturday, but we thought the larger celebration may have proved too long for her to sit through.  Pretty sure we made the right choice!  She got to see Daddy in his cap and gown on Sat and then teacher kayle took her to a birthday party on Sunday!  Best of both worlds.

Huge thanks to Nana & Papa who were here for Saturday's fun. We missed you on Sunday but we were so happy to have Jami, Jan, Lori and Jon with us on Sunday!

To David...congratulations on a job well done.  You've managed to complete this schooling while still being an amazing partner and father and always there for us, especially when we needed you. We're so proud of you.  We know you're going to make an amazing nurse and your patients will be lucky to have you.  Love you!
