Is it Summer yet?

Really...the weather here in Portland stinks.  We're hoping eventually we'll have a full day of sun!  But that didn't stop us from having a great weekend.

Pizza with the Cicero's on Friday,  swimming lessons and a concert in the park on Saturday and a trip to the zoo on Saturday.  

The Portland Symphony performed on Saturday night at Cathedral Park.  Not sure Elliot appreciated the true beauty of the music, but she sure loved rolling down the hill with the 500 other children who also seemed not to notice the music!

At the zoo, we watched the bird show.  And then Elliot got to "feed" Pierre a $1 donation which he promptly put into the conservancy donation bucket.  Then we road the zoo train with pal Evan!

A good time was had by all.

P.S. Clearly I get the parent of the year award.  Elliot has decided she only wants to wear dresses that "go up in the air" when she twirls around.  So she's wearing the same dress two days in row.  Just didn't have it in me to fight that battle yesterday :-)
