After five germ free months, Elliot has finally caught her first virus. Unfortunately, this one landed us in the ER last night. The on-call dr sent there after hearing her cough (over the phone)...turns out that she has croup. Fortunately, they believe it's a relatively mild case so she was treated and sent home. Kudos to the staff at Emanuel who were great. They saw her within 5 minutes of arrival and had us out of there in just over an hour. Surely one of the fastest ER trips in history.
While we're all a little tired today...Elliot seems to be doing well, but we're hoping that she takes lots of naps today (so we can do the same) ;-)
