Not that anyone really tunes in to hear what I'm doing, but sorry for the delay in posting. Since we returned, work has been a bear and I've been swamped. At the end of the day, the last place I wan to be is on the computer.
That being said...part 2 of our trip was spent in Austwell with Nana and Papa. Nana joked that one of the boys said Austwell is the "end of the earth." Well, that might be true, but the view from the bay window is amazing! We spent several days with Nana and Papa and ventured out to some new places...including lots of beach time: the beach at Indianola, the beach in Rockport and lunch in Port Lavaca.
Elliot loved the beach. It was her first visit to the Gulf and believe me, it was a lot warmer down there than the beaches of Oregon!
It was one of the most fun visits we've ever had. Scott & Ann came down on Wed and we all got to have dinner together before heading back to Austin for another day and a half.
Thanks as always to Nana and Papa for a wonderful trip! We hope to come back again soon.
