Back from Michigan for another 5 days in Chicago!
And before going any further, I have to stop and give a special thanks to my sister Tiffany who went above and beyond the call of duty during our stay. She took the first week off and spent every day with us. From watching Elliot to driving us around, we had a blast. And during week two, while we didn't have the pleasure Aunt T's company for the entire week (boo), we still managed to have a little fun and she came to see us every night after work. After years of getting a day here or there with T, it was so much fun to spend almost two weeks with her. Elliot will miss everyone but especially her Aunt T!
David left and went back to Portland, but we still managed to pack in a fun filled week of activity. Dinner with Grandpa and Ellen, trips to the beach with Grandma and Randy, dinner with Fitz & Tim, the Zoo, coffee with old friends Jim and Brian, a visit from "uncles" Kris and Todd from Wisconsin and a trip to my old stomping ground, Centennial Pool.
All in all, a wonderful trip ending with a tearful goodbye on Saturday. Can't thank everyone enough for housing us, transporting us and spending as much time with us as they could.
