clothing optional...not today

Well, it could have been. Was certainly hot enough, but after a string of clothing optional days, Elliot decided to keep them on this weekend. In fact, Sunday, she spent half the day running through sprinkler IN all of her clothes.

Saturday Elliot and her bestie Olivia made their monthly trip to the zoo.  We spent half the time watching  the crew set up for the big concert event that Linsday and Brian were attending later on that night.  Yes, I'm talking about Huey Lewis.  Those of us that grew up in the 80's can't help but but remember "do you believe in love" or "if this is it."  Rumor has it the concert was a lot of fun AND they got to hang with the band...check out the evidence.  Looks like the Toskys and the rest of the clan had a pretty good time!.   Also heard auntie Lindsay was a little "tired" the next day - glad we got our trip in before the concert ;-)

On Sunday we rode the last Sunday parkways of the year.  We kicked off the day with a delicious bfast and mimosa's (for the adults only of course) at Lori and Jon's and then made our way out to the 6 mile bike loop ending up at the Hawthorne Street Fair.  This is where Elliot ran into girls on stilts and the most exciting of the sprinkler systems.  Rhienna and Hazel knew the girls on stilts and showed us a few other tricks they've picked up while taking classes over at Do Jump.  Who knows, maybe next year we'll see Elliot walking around on those - seriously, the girl is fearless!

A great weekend and the first in a long time where we all just got to hang out and enjoy.  David's back at school this week (was awesome to have him home for two weeks - and not just because of all the home projects).  Real world begins again right now.
