Seriously...No Snow?

So we've been going to Sunriver for the last 5 years.   And every years there's tons of snow. This year, we rented a house with Jenna, Zack, Reyna, Gavin (and Sparky of course) and when we got there, there wasn't an inch of snow.  I mean really...we'd been talking about the sledding and snowshoeing for 6 months.   Talk about a "FAIL." 

So this year, we checked out the High Desert Museum which I have to say was pretty cool.  And then on Thursday, we loaded up into the car adn drove out to Mt. Bachelor.  Thankfully the base of the mountain had a little bit of snow and we were able to get some good sled runs in. I just wasn't right outside our back door like we'd hoped!  We did also make a few trips into Sunriver Village. Elliot found the "train" so it was a must ride everyday.  On our last day we got Jenna, Gavin and Reyna to join us!

All in all it was a great trip.  We were so happy to spend it with our family!  Hope we can make it work again next year!!!!
